Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in data governance and information architecture.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Purview, including Data Catalog, Data Lineage, Data Quality, and Data Governance features.
• Experience with Informatica Data Quality (IICS version).
• Strong knowledge of information architecture principles and data compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Solid understanding of data profiling, cleansing, validation, and governance frameworks.
• Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), Azure Data Analyst Associate (DA-100/DA-200), or CDMP are highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience in designing and optimizing scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows.
• Familiarity with collaboration across cross-functional teams including data scientists, architects, and business stakeholders.
Desirable Skills:
• Experience enforcing data quality policies and compliance measures.
• Knowledge of current trends in data engineering and governance best practices.
• Technical troubleshooting for data-related issues in complex environments.
Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise data governance strategies using Microsoft Purview.
• Manage and optimize data quality processes and ETL pipelines.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance across systems.
• Conduct data profiling and implement remediation for data quality issues.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to align governance with organizational goals.
• Support the development and enforcement of data quality standards and policies.
• Provide ongoing support and improvement of data workflows and governance tools.
