Senior network engineer

Requirements
Experience as a Network Engineer with an Enterprise Company.
Strong understanding of traditional network technologies, including Route/Switch.
Experience with Cisco Routers, Switches, Nexus.
Strong understanding of Data Center Infrastructure.
Experience with Cisco ACI and distributed architecture.
Cisco Firepower
Strong understanding of routing protocols – BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
Managed a multi-site MPLS network.
Understanding of tenants, VRF’s, and BD.
SDWAN experience is a plus.
Understanding of security technologies, including Firewalls, IPS/IDS, and content filtering.
CCNA or CCNP is preferred.

Support for network alerts generated by monitoring tools.
Access Points.

Internet circuits.
Ticket and incident resolution.
Ticket and incident documentation.
Maintain SLAs.
Keep the network inventory up to date.

Providers.
Keep OS or firmware up to date.
Responsible for project implementation.
Ticket analysis.
Root Cause Analysis.
Best practice implementation.
Change management for the Network Service Tower.
Shift scheduling for the network team.
Availability report for network services.
Metrics reports for network services.
