Senior windows desktop engineer

At Experis Colombia, we are looking for a professional Computer Engineer, Technology Engineer, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in desktop support or a related field, with a focus on endpoint management and support solutions, and an English proficiency level between C1 - C2.

Responsibilities:
The Senior Windows Desktop Engineer is responsible for managing comprehensive solutions for desktop and endpoint support. This role involves efficient patch management, remote troubleshooting, and strong vulnerability management. The Senior Windows Desktop Engineer will collaborate with IT teams to enhance endpoint security, optimize support processes, and ensure a high level of operational efficiency and user satisfaction.

Requirements:

Professional degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
5 to 7 years of experience in desktop support or a related field, with a focus on endpoint management and support solutions.
Experience with Windows 10 and 11.
Advanced knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS) and endpoint management tools.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager (formerly SCCM).
Ability to use Configuration Manager to apply patches and remediate issues.
Experience with remote support technologies and architectures.
Solid understanding of vulnerability management processes and tools, including assessment and remediation.
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, CompTIA Security+ are desirable.
